ACCUPHASE joins the Adventures line up

We are thrilled to announce that we have a new brand on board – the one and only ACCUPHASE 🥳
We have long admired this most prestigious of Japanese audio manufacturers and its products; and we know a lot of you have too. With instantly recognisable aesthetics, trademark VDU meter and utter dedication to the highest quality audio reproduction, Accuphase brings something a little bit different and complements our existing range perfectly.

Accuphase Laboratory Inc. has a stellar pedigree; an enviable international reputation for developing and producing audio products of the absolute highest quality: ACCU from ‘accurate’, and PHASE, that most crucial element of audio technology.
We’ve been blown away by the products so far – DP-450 CD player and 2 integrated amplifiers – E-700 and new E-3000, both of which have the option of a switchable MM/MC phono cartridge – easily inserted via the back panel.
The Accuphase philosophy of creating equipment that reproduces music in its purest, most emotive form is one which we admire and share. The company has been doing this faithfully since its inception in 1972 in Yokohama, by former Kenwood engineer Jiro Kasuga, aided by former Marantaz and Luxman engineers who strived to create something truly special. And boy, did they succeed.
From it’s first products – C-200 preamplifier, P-300 power amplifier and T-100 FM/Am tuner P-300 it was clear Accuphase was all about performance and musicality.
Fast forward half a century and today’s Accuphase products represent some of the finest around. Since we got these in for listening a couple of months ago, we have been smitten. We’ve barely had them out of the dem room.

It was a difficult choice on what to purchase for permanent demonstration in the shop, but…. drum roll… the first products at Adventures are:
DP-450 CD Player
We’ve been crying out for a CD player of real quality for years and finally we have it. This sounds divine.
The DP-450 CD player combines a number of innovative technologies, including a CD drive mechanism with a strong integrated structure, high-quality elastic dampers that protect the lens actuator from vibration and MDS+ type D/A converters with four parallel circuits.

E-700 Integrated Stereo Amplifier
As stunning to look at as it is to listen to, E-700 Class A integrated amplifier is an evolutionary integrated amplifier that incorporates numerous technologies from Accuphase’s 50th anniversary flagship model, E-800. Detailed and dynamic no matter the source; simply breathtaking.
The preamplifier section uses a Balanced AAVA type volume control with ANCC to create a balanced configuration from input to output and achieve driving perfection. The power amp stage has been fortified from three elements to four, further increasing reliability.

E-3000 Integrated Stereo Amplifier
Brand new in 2025, E-3000 integrated is the perfect distillation of Accuphase reference level technology into an integrated platform.
The vitally important volume control circuits incorporate AAVA that employs the ANCC principle. The power amplifier section produces balanced signals relying on the instrumentation amplifier principle while simultaneously creating a robust output stage through three-fold parallel push-pull power transistors driven in class AB.
